What is a chillum?

Chillum pipes are portable, simple pipes normally without a carb that were originally used by holy Hindu sadhus to smoke charas hash as part of their religion. Similar to one-hitter pipes, chillums are a straight shot from the bowl to mouthpiece but feature a larger bowl and are more varied in their design. Glass chillum pipes are the most common but they can be made from other materials including ceramic or even horn. How to use a chillum pipe is pretty simple. Just pack lightly with ground herb, light and take, slow long draws.
