Glow in the Dark Cactus Bongs Description
Perhaps you’re a desert lover. There’s something about desert sunsets that are hard to beat. Plus the coyotes yipping, the black bees buzzing and the flowering cactus plants. So if you’re looking for a piece that you can take with you on your next camping trip in the desert, this cactus bong may be just for you.
Made from clay layered on top of 7mm thick borosilicate glass, the piece is a unique work of art made to stand the test of time. Most bongs are made from 3mm glass so at more than twice the thickness, this cactus water pipe is that much stronger. Although it’s on the heavy side, the thick glass makes it significantly less shatter-prone and surprisingly travel-friendly. Also, it’s worth noting that most straight tube bongs tend to tip more easily but the clay gives this piece more protection, particularly around the base. Measuring 10 inches, this water pipe is balanced by the chunky clay base so it’s even more stable.
Above all, what makes this thick glass bong trippy is its glow in the dark spines dotted along the ridges. The glowing spines light up the entire piece like a desert inspired Christmas tree with lights strung throughout. What’s more, the unique 3-D design most closely resembles the saguaro cactus with its branches and red fruit. Plus, the hand painted scorpions and flowers along the base gives it even more charm.
And while this glow in the dark bong doesn’t feature a more elaborate perc, the diffused downstem efficiently cools smoke without diluting flavor. Additionally, the funnel bowl has a thick rim so it’s easier to remove from the 14mm female joint. Although subtle, the rim of the bowl actually matches the ribbed borosilicate glass mouthpiece. In short, cactus bongs like this one are few and far between. And with a character all its own, this piece elevates the ritual of getting high in the desert to new highs.
